Bio:
Markus Kröger has been surrounded by music and musicians since his earliest childhood. Born in Trier, at the age of 6 he had his first piano lessons, and later, at the age of 12, he started saxophone classes. After spending a long time as a member of the local Musikvereine and various Marching Bands, he played keyboard in Rock and Metal Bands, before he discovered Jazz, wich he immersed himself in from the beginning. After studying music at the Musikhochschule, he worked as a saxophonist and clarinetist in numerous formations from duo to bigband and has passed on this experience for years as a popular music instructor. For him, there are no musical toboos, neither live on stage, nor in the studio. He published a number of recordings with many different groups in recent years and has given a lot of workshops with international and well known musicians. He played in countless projects, musicals and studio sessions. |
